Dave to go on fast to 'defuse' infighting in BJP

Rajkot, Oct 16 (UNI) In the run-up to the Gujarat assembly elections, the former organisational secretary of BJP Narendra Dave will go on fast for 72 hrs from tomorrow to 'defuse' infighting in the party.

Mr Dave today said, in a statement, that his motive behind going on a fast was to re-unite senior BJP leader Keshubhai Patel and Chief Minister Narendra Modi and ensure both campaign together for the party's victory in the assembly elections.

He also urged the VHP, RSS to give him moral support in his fast, which would begin from Trikon Bagh, the heart of the city.
