Criminal cases against seven gazetted officers
Chandigarh, Oct 16 (UNI) The Haryana State Vigilance Bureau has recommended registration of criminal cases against seven gazetted officers, eight non-gazetted officials and eleven others found guilty in the inquiries conducted by the Bureau.
Stating this here today, a Bureau spokesman said it had also recommended recovery of Rs 52,921 and registration of cases and initiation of departmental action against the defaulters.
The Bureau had also recommended departmental action against eight gazetted officers and five non-gazetted officials in other enquiries conducted by it.
He said the Bureau caught red handed 15 officers and officials while accepting gratification ranging from Rs 400 to Rs 20,000.
