Cell phones, cameras stolen

Tuticorin, Oct 16 (UNI) Unidentifed miscreants stormed two home appliances stores, including one owned by Congress MLA Vasanthakumar and decamped with mobile phones and cameras worth about Rs 20 lakh at Balavinayagam Kovil street in the district early this morning.

Police said 136 cell phones, two digital and four analogue cameras were stolen from Vasanth&Co, owned by the MLA.

Similarly, Satya Agencies, located in the same stretch, was also stormed and 124 cell phones were found missing.
