NEW YORK, Oct 16 (Reuters) Boeing Co said on Tuesday that Indian carrier Jet Airways Ltd ordered 20 Next Generation 737-800s, valued at nearly $1.5 billion at list prices.

Boeing, which did not provide planned delivery dates for the aircraft, said the planes will be equipped with drag-reducing winglets.
