Aditya Prakash to train in Indonesia

Bangalore, Oct 16 (UNI) Karnataka State Junior Badminton Champion Aditya Prakash will undergo a month-long training in Indonesia, thanks to TATA Padukone Badminton Academy for selecting the teenaged promising shuttler.

According to a release here, the Academy had made arrangements with one of Indonesia's top training centre Suryanaga Club in Surabaya, which had trained top shuttlers like the legendary Rudy Hortono apart from Taufiq, Hidyat, Soni Dwi Kuncoro and others.

Aditya would train under Hadi Sugiyantho, who was National Doubles Coach in India. Hadi had now settled in Surabaya and is in charge of the Club with which the Academy had a tie-up, former All England title winner Prakash Padukone said in the release.

It may be recalled here that International shuttler Anup Sridhar and Rohan Castelino had also underwent training in the same club in 2004.
