Ola surprised over removal of Ram Narayan Chaudhary

Jhunjhunu, Oct 15 (UNI) Union Mines Minister Shishram Ola today expressed surprise over the resignation of Congress Legislature Party leader Ram Narayan Chaudhary.

''I am sad and surprised over the removal of Ram Narayan Chaudhary from the post of the opposition leader in the Assembly,'' Mr Ola said here.

''There was no discussion in the Congress on his resignation and if Sonia Gandhi favoured a change in the leadership of the legislature party in Rajasthan, we fully support her,'' he said.

The Minister denied that the Jats were being sidelined in the Congress and added people form all castes had made important contribution in strengthening the Party in the state.
