Jet expands domestic network with two new planes
New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) Jet Airways today announced the introduction of a new Mumbai-Chandigarh service and additional daily services to Kochi and Bhopal, thus expanding its domestic network.
This follows induction of two classic and next generation Boeing 737-700/800 aircraft into the fleet from October 17.
Jet's Chief Executive Officer Wolfgang Prock Schauer said the domestic sector has been the airline's mainstay and introduction of new services reflects its commitment to providing passengers flexibility of time and frequency.
The country's largest airline currently operates 350 daily flights with a fleet of 67 aircraft. It has flow over 75.61 million passengers since the inception in May 1993.
