'Fake appointments in Manipur Edu dept'

Imphal, Oct 15: The Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup(KYKL), a proscribed outfit, has alleged that large numbers of employees in the state Education department had fake appointment orders.

KYKL sources claimed here today that they had detected 1,153 fake appointment cases so far.

The militant group also alleged that three senior officials of the department were involved in the cases related to fake appointments and fraudulent withdrawal of money.

Besides, the KYKL claimed that it had prepared a list of the employees who were holding posts by virtue of fake appointment letters.

Meanwhile, the Manipur government already announced its decision to take action against those involved in the fake appointment cases.
