Eight killed in Jeep Truck collision in Rajasthan
Jaipur, Oct 15 (UNI) As many as eight people, including a woman, were killed and 10 others injured in a collision between a jeep and a truck near Chaksu on the Jaipur Tonk Highway this morning.
As many as 18 persons were travelling in the ill fated jeep which was proceeding to Newai from Jaipur. While six persons died on the spot, two among the injured succumbed to their injuries at the Mahatma Gnadhi Medical College Hospital, a police spokesman said.
The injured were referred to the SMS Hospital here, he said.
In another accident, two people were killed and one was injured in the truck on which they were travelling rammed into another truck near Hindoli in Bundi district early this morning, the spokesman added.
