Clerk robbed of Rs 6.5 lakh in rae bareli

Lucknow, Oct 15 (UNI) Unidentified armed miscreants today robbed Rs 6.5 lakh from a school's clerk in Kotwali area of Rae Bareli city.

Two motorcycle-borne persons snatched the amount from the clerk, when he was on way to deposit them in a bank, special secretary of state home department R P Mishra said here.

A case had been registered and a hunt to nab the miscreants launched.
