Students becoming victims of chaotic situation: Education Minister

Imphal, Oct 14 (UNI) Manipur Education Minister L Jayentakumar today said students were facing various problems in the education sector in the state.

Speaking at a function here, the minister said the state Education department was not only for government schools but all the students of the state.

He also said the government was happy with the contribution of the private schools and urged them to guide the students and prepare responsible citizens for the future.

''The government alone can not improve the education system. The teachers, guardians and society should come together for the purpose,'' he said.

''The schools should equip the students with all the necessary ingredients to face the challenges of life,'' he added.
