Gupta calls for strengthening education system

Yamunanagar, Oct 14 (UNI) Haryana Education Minister Mange Ram Gupta today said that the state government would soon take effective steps for further strengthening the education system.

While addressing a press conference here today he said that teachers of the Education department would be made accountable and performance would be judged through the results in their respective districts. He said that disciplinary action would be taken for dereliction of duties.

The Education Minister who is also holding the portfolio of Transport Department said that in order to provide better transport facilities to the people, bus conductors would soon be recruited into the Raodways.

He said that the Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda would inaugurate the first unit of 300 MW Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Plant at Yamunanagar on November one.
