Drug trafficker held, 2 kg heroin recovered

New Delhi, Oct 14 (UNI) The Delhi police today claimed to have arrested a drug trafficker from Tahirpur near Nandnagri.

About 2 kg of heroin worth at least Rs 2 crore in the international market was recovered from his possession.

The drug trafficker was identified as Sunil Kumar Popat, a resident of Dilshad Garden. The police had kept a vigil on Sunil's movement since his accomplice Paramjeet Singh was arrested in July.

Following a tip, the narcotics team arrested him near T-point at Tahirpur on October 12.
