6 killed, nine injured in AP road accident

Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, Oct 14 (UNI) Six people, including four women and a four-year-old girl, were killed on the spot and nine others injured when a van, in which they were proceeding to Tirupati, collided head-on with a lorry near the Bypass Road here today.

Police said the incident occurred when a lorry coming from the opposite direction dashed against the van with 15 persons.

The injured were admitted to Kadapa Government Hospital, where the condition of some of them was stated to be serious.

The deceased were identified as Srisailam (26) , the driver, Nagakala (30) Lavanya (35) Sivaleela (40) Pentamma (60) and Aditya (4).
