5 killed, 15 injured in cinema hall blast in Punjab

Ludhiana, Oct 14 (UNI) Five people were killed and 15 others injured in a powerful bomb blast during the screening of the Bollywood film 'Bhool Bhulaiya' in Shingar cinema in the heart of this industrial town of Punjab tonight.

According to police sources, three people died on the spot, while two others died on way to the hospital. The injured were admitted to various hospitals in the city.

Senior police officials rushed to the spot and a forensic team had been summoned. A high alert has been sounded in the city, sources said.
