Three students drowned in Purulia

Purulia, Oct 13 (UNI) Three students of Purulia Ramkrishna Vidyapith drowned in a pond inside the school premises here today.

Police said the students, belonging to Manipur, were studying in class Ten and had gone for a bath before proceeding to their home state as the vacation of the school for the festive season began.

The students were brought to Purulia Sadar Hospital where doctors declared them dead on arrival, police added.
