Six associates of notorious rowdy nabbed

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 13 (UNI) Police rounded up six associates of a notorious rowdy element at gun point from a hide out at Mutharasanallur village near here yesterday.

Police said Pattarai Suresh, wanted in several murder and theft cases was at large. Acting on a tip off, a police party went to the spot and laid laid seige to the area. On seeing the police, the associates of Suresh attempted to run away from the scene. They were, however, nabbed.

A case had been registered and investigation was underway, police added.
