Party took decision unanimously: Mons Joseph

Kottayam, Oct 13 (UNI) Kerala Congress (J) designate Minister Mons Joseph today said the party high power committee had selected him for the post unanimously.

Talking to newspersons here, he refuted the report that he was selected in a draw or lots because of differences of opinion within the party.

He and Mr Surendran Pillai were eligible for the post but, the party selected him, Mr Joseph added.

He asserted that he was a substitute and would step down when Party Chairman P J Joseph would be cleared of the charges against him.
