No leadership crisis in BJP, says Venkaiah

Raipur, Oct 13 (UNI) Denying any leadership crisis in BJP, its Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu today said the party would declare its prime ministerial candidate after the announcement of elections.

''Neither there is any leadership crisis nor there is dearth of leaders in BJP'', he told newspersons at the state BJP office here.

Stating that the party would announce the name of its leader at an appropriate time, Mr Naidu said, ''Though we are in opposition, everyone is asking us under whose leadership we will fight the polls. They must pose this question to the Congress''.

About dissident activities in Gujarat unit of the BJP, the former party president said Chief Minister Narendra Modi would retain power in the forth coming elections on the issue of development. ''BJP will win more seats this time as compared to the last elections'', he claimed.

Stating that the party was keeping a close watch on the dissident activities, Mr Naidu said action would be taken at an appropriate time.
