Media protests denial of entry into temple for CM's visit

Vijayawada, Oct 13 (UNI) Mediapersons squatted before Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's convoy for not allowing them inside the Sri Kanakadurga Temple here this morning though they were issued passes by the City Police Commissioner (CoP).

Heated arguments ensued between the mediapersons and police leading to a minor scuffle in which cameras of photographers were damaged.

Coming to know of this, Dr Reddy talked to the mediapersons and gave instructions to CoP C V Anand.

In the meanwhile, an Armed Reserve Constable on the Chief Minister's security duty lost his AK 47 magazine carrying 30 bullets for which an announcement was made in the temple through the public address system.
