Huge arms haul in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 13 (UNI) Security forces have seized a large cache of arms and ammunition from a forest area Kupwara district in north Kashmir, police said today.

They said the security forces seized one AK rifle, two pistols, two bore rifles, one AK magazine, two Sniper magazines, seven rounds of pistol ammunition, 680 rounds of AK ammunition, one PPG ammunition, eight radio sets, one anti-tank mine, 58 UBGL, five detonators, 4.5 kg PEK with plastic, seven kg destroyed RDX, 19 kg destroyed explosive, one destroyed hand grenade, four destroyed Chinese hand grenades, five mt destroyed cordex and two destroyed anti-tank rifle grenades from general area of Gulgam forests in Trehgam area of Kupwara district.

Police have registered a case in this regard.
