Civil Supply officials seize 100 bags of ration rice

Tiruchirapalli, Oct 13 (UNI) Civil Supply officials have seized 100 bags of ration rice meant for smuggling to Kerala at Thottiam, near here, on the Tiruchirapalli-Salem NH today.

Official sources said on a tip-off, they intercepted a lorry and seized the rice bags.

The driver was arrested.
