Birth centenary of Hindi writers

Ujjain, Oct 13 (UNI) Vikram University will celebrate the birth centenary of seven prominent Hindi writers this year as 'Srijan Sanskar Varsh'.

Contributions of National Poet Ramdhari Singh 'Dinkar', Mahadevi Verma, Acharya Hazari Prasad Dwivedi, Harivansh Rai Bachchan, Acharya Nand Dulare Vajpayi, Jagannath Prasad Milind and Shyam Narayan Pande would be debated as part of their birth anniversary celebrations, Vice Chancellor Ram Rajesh Mishra said.

The 2007-08 celebrations would begin with its formal inauguration on the university's foundation day on October 29 by Madhya Pradesh Governor Balram Jakhar.

UNI
