Arcot Prince visits blast victims at Ajmer hospital

Chennai, Oct 13 (UNI) The Prince of Arcot, Nawab Mohammed Abdul Ali, who is the President of Ajmer Dargah Committee, visited the people injured in the dargah blast at Government Hospital in Ajmer.

In a release, Mr Abdul Ali strongly condemned the barbarous and inhuman attack outside the sanctum sanctorum of India's best known Sufi Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, at Ajmer, which killed two people and left many injured on October 11.

He said it was a clear act of cowardice, who wanted to disturb communal harmony, secularism and peaceful co-existence of various faiths in the country.

The Arcot Prince also demanded a thorough probe by the CBI, so that impartial investigation could be carried out and the culprits were booked and punished according to the law of the land, at the earliest.

The Dargah Committee has sanctioned an ex-gratia payment of Rs one lakh to the kith and kin of the two deceased, who were killed in the blast and Rs 50,000 to those, who were injured.

The Prince and the Commitee expressed their heart-felt condolences to the bereaved family and wished the injured a speedy recovery, the release added.
