Air Lanka flight diverted to city for bad weather in Goa

Chennai, Oct 13 (UNI) An Air Lanka flight from Colombo to Goa, with 75 passengers onboard, was diverted to Chennai due to bad weather.

Airport sources said the flight which took off at Colombo was proceeding to Goa but could not land there due to bad weather.

It was diverted to Chennai airport where it landed at around 1110 hrs.

After the weather cleared in Goa, the flight left Chennai at 1240 hrs.
