Adequate resources in govt schools by next year : Marandi

Dumka, Oct 13 (UNI) Admitting that government schools in the state were functioning without proper resources, Deputy Jharkhand Chief Minister Stephen Marandi today said those schools from primary to high level would be strengthened by the end of next year.

Addressing a function, organised in Pindari village under Masalia block, about 30 km far from here, Mr Marandi said efforts were on to provide adequate resources to the government schools located in rural areas, adding vacant posts of teachers would also be filled very soon.

Mr Marandi said the amount of scholarship being given to the students would be increased and similar arrangements for the students belonging to Below Poverty Line would be done.

He also felicitated 32 retired teachers on the ocassion.
