Special trains to meet extra rush

Vijayawada, Oct 12 (UNI) The South Central Railway (SCR) will run Bhubaneswar-Pondicherry-Bhubaneswar super fast express special train to meet the extra rush of commuters in view of Dasara and pooja season, according to senior Divisonal Commerical Manager, Vijayawada B Vijayabhaskar.

In a press release he said, the train from Bhubaneswar would leave Bhubaneswar on Fridays from October 19 to November 23, at 11.45 hrs and would arrive in Pondicherry the next day at 13.35 hrs.

In the return direction, the train would start from Pondicherry on all Saturdays, from October 13 to November 24, at 16.10 hrs and reach Bhubaneswar on the next day at 17.30 hrs.

He said in order to meet the extra rush of passengers during the Dasara festival, Rajahmundry-Eluru-Rajahmundry passenger trains were extended upto Vijayawada till October 22.

Eluru-Vijayawada passenger train would leave Eluru at 20.30 hrs and reach Vijayawada at 22.13 hrs.

In the return direction, the train would start from Vijayawada at 04.15 hrs and at arrive at Eluru at 06.00 hrs, the release added.
