Sangma moves delimitation of constituencies in Meghalaya Assy

Shillong, Oct 12 (UNI) Meghalaya's Deputy Chief Minister Mukul Sangma today moved before the state Assembly the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies bill in the state.

However, there was no mention regarding the time for the implementation of delimitation.

Raising a point of order, AL Hek (BJP) asked whether the delimitation of constituencies will be implemented in 2008.

However, Assembly Speaker MM Danggo said the BJP legislator could put a question regarding the matter any other during the current session.
