President congratulates IPCC for sharing Nobel Peace Prize

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) President Pratibha Devisingh Patil today congratulated the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) chaired by Dr R K Pachauri for sharing this year's Nobel Peace Prize along with the former US Vice President Al Gore.

Ms Patil said the award was recognition for the crucial work done by Dr Pachauri and his team members on the IPCC for the benefit of humanity and future generations, a Rashtrapati Bhavan press release here said.
