NCP-Jansurajya Party alliance sweeps KDAPMC elections

Kolhapur, Oct 12 (UNI) The alliance of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Jansurajya Party emerged victorious in the Kolhapur District Agriculture Produce Market Committee (KDAMPC) elections defeating the ruling Congress group panel.

The NCP-Jansurajya Party alliance won 17 out of the 19 seats while the ruling Congress could manage to bag only two seats.

As many as 782 candidates had contested the KDAPMC elections which were held on October 10.
