Grdn't raw oil touches six-month low at 690

Mumbai, Oct 12 (UNI) Prices of groundnut raw oil today touched a six-month low at Rs 690 with a modest loss of Rs ten from its last close of 700 on expectations of a bumper crop at the producing areas like Gujarat, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh and others, traders said.

Similarly, other edible oils like palmolein refined, rapeseed refined, sunflower refined, and castorseed and groundnutseed prices drifted lower on sustained heavy offers by stockists induced by bearish advice from producing centres like Gujarat, MP, and Karnataka, traders at the Bombay Commodity Exchange (BCE) said.

However, cottonseed refined oil looked up slightly on scattered demand from local dealers, traders added.
