CRPF officer dies under mysterious circumstances in Kashmir

Srinagar, Oct 12 (UNI) A senior Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) officer died at his unit headquarters on the city outskirts under mysterious circumstances, police said today.

They said sub-inspector Arjun Singh of the CRPF's 110 battalion died under mysterious circumstances at his unit headquarters in Lethpora near Pampore in south Kashmir's Pulwama district.

Police have taken cognizance into the matter and initiated proceedings under section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of death.
