BJP leader's brother shot dead

Ferozabad, Oct 12 (UNI) Unidentified armed miscreants shot dead brother of a local BJP leader here this morning.

According to police, Suman Yadav (35) was returning home with his son from the market, when he was waylaid by about six car and motorcycle-borne assailants.

The criminals fired indiscriminately at Yadav, killing him on the spot.

His four-year-old son was also hit by a bullet on his hand and was later taken to a private hospital in Agra.

Yadav, who was the younger brother of former BJP district unit president Laxmi Narain Yadav, worked as a teacher in Tilak Inter College.

Nine cartridges were also recovered from the spot.

Police suspected the murder as a fallout of Yadav's confrontation with his college management.

Meanwhile, investigation was on.
