BJP hints at acting against dissidents in Gujarat

New Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) After months of inaction regarding the dissident activity in Gujarat, the BJP today said it was watching the activities of several important leaders and hinted action will be taken soon.

Senior BJP leader M Venkaiah Naidu said, '' Believe it or not, the BJP is winning hands down in the coming round of Assembly polls.'' Regarding the MPs meeting with the Congress leaders, he said details will be disclosed to the mediapersons soon.

There have been several rounds of BJP leaders, including former state ministers Suresh Mehta, Gordhan Zadafia and others, at the residence of former Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel during the last few days.

Party sources said tackling the disagreement was a strategy.

Also the stand of disagreeing leaders is important.

The sources also contended that contrary to the claims of the dissidents, the powerful Patidar community's votes was still with the BJP.
