4 IPS officers shifted in UP

Lucknow, Oct 12 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh government this evening transferred four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers in the state.

Police Housing Corporation president/managing director J S Ghungesh is the new DG, Railway, whereas, ADG Dr Rai Umapati Rai posted at CB-CID, Lucknow, has been sent on Mr Ghungesh's place.

Yashpal Singh, stationed at the Police Training Centre (PTC), Moradabad, has been transferred to Civil Defence in the same capacity.

Police Superintendent R K Srivatava, who was awaiting posting, has been shifted to Intelligence Headquarters, Lucknow, in the same capacity.
