2 killed, 8 injured as jeep rams into train

Mau, Oct 12 (UNI) At least two women were killed and eight others grievously injured when the speeding jeep. they were travelling in, dashed against a train at an unmanned crossing here today.

The accident took place near Pipridih railway station, the ill-fated jeep rammed into the Lichvi Express, killing a woman instantly and the other died on way to hospital.

The injured were admitted to the district hospital in critical condition.

Efforts were on to establish the identity of the deceased, police said.
