Works on 3,50,000 houses to be completed by November

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) The construction of 3,50,000 more houses under Indiramma programme will be completed by November 2007.

In a review meeting with Housing Minister B Satyanarayana and Energy Minister Mohd Shabbirv here today, Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy directed to ensure proper availability of sand, brick and cement in advance, according to an official release.

The meeting also decided to establish Nirmithi Kendras to manufacture bricks at all division level and encourage those coming forward to set up Nirmithi Kendras by providing necessary financial help.

The government was also planning to establish five super Nirmithi Kendras to produce one lakh fly-ash blocks per day under joint venture with APGENCO/NTPC at Ramagundam, Visakhapatnam, Muddanur, Vijayawada and Kothagudem, the release added.
