Vested interest-hurting sentiments of Hindus: Sinha
Ranchi, Oct 11 (UNI) Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Yashwant Sinha today expressed concern over ''designs'' by vested interests to hurt the sentiments of Hindus and urged people to foil such attempts.
Mr Sinha, without mentioning the Ram Sethu controversy and statements made by some politicians allegedly tarninshing the image of Lord Ram, said some people were constantly trying to hurt the sentiments of Hindus, which he feared would destroy ''Hindutva''.
Mr Sinha was here to participate in a function organised at Bundu, about 25 km from here to unveil the statue of Sitaram Maru, founder of local Hindi daily Ranchi Express.
Speaking on the occasion, RSS Chief K C Sudershan said, ''the East has yet to feel the meaning of 'dharma aur atma' and the day they understand its philosophy, fellow feeling will certainly prevail.'' ''India is still a source of rich philosophy and inspiration to others who seek spiritual guidance,'' he said.
