Kolkata, Oct 11 (UNI) All India Trinamool Congress today threatened to play video cassettes of 'torture' carried out in Nandigram during the coming festive days if the attack does not stop there.

''We would show the cassettes to lakhs of people without disturbing the puja committees,'' AITC supremo Mamata Banerjee said in a rally organised by Krishi Jami-Jeevan-o-Jeebika Raksha Committee here.

She said, ''the party would organise peaceful movement. It will play the video cassette depicting the continuous attack on the Bhumi Ucchched Pratirodh Committee members of Nandigram and seek punishment of the culprits who were involved in the March 14 incident in which 14 people were killed in police firing.'' ''We want to know from the CPI(M)-led Left Front government why the attack was still continuing in Nandigram?'' she asked.

''Either we will fight or we will die, but we can not let West Bengal burn,'' she reiterated .

Referring to the rationing trouble prevailing in the state , Ms Banerjee said, the food movement was continuing for fifteen days, but Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee and his government was still sleeping over the issue and had failed to take any stern action.

She said, it is an apolitical movement and the people were unitedly protesting against the ruling government's discriminating rationing system.

She alleged that the CPI(M) had kept all the Below Poverty Line and the Above Poverty Line cards in their own possession and the party and the dealers had come to an understanding in this regard.

Regarding Rizwanur's death, she said the ruling government was playing a dirty game and not saying that the deceased's wife Priyanka Todi's father Ashoke Todi would be arrested in this case.
