TDP leader lodges complaint against Congress MLC

Hyderabad, Oct 11 (UNI) Telugu Desam Party (TDP) spokeswoman Nannapaneni Rajakumari today lodged a complaint with the police against Andhra Pradesh Congress Mahila President Ganga Bhavani MLC, in connection with an alleged attack on her.

Ms Rajakumari urged the City Police Commissioner Balwinder Singh to register an attempted murder case against Bhavani and other Congress women activists, who laid a seige to her house yesterday, protesting the 'objectional remarks' made by the TDP member against Chief Minsiter Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

Mr Balwinder assured the complainant that he would look into the matter.

Dr Reddy, however, summoned Bhavani in his camp office and admonished her of creating problems, party sources said. She, however, pleaded innocent and said she chose the Gandhian path to protest against the ill-treatment meted out to the Chief Minister by the TDP member.
