Salvatore wins the main event

Mysore, Oct 11 (UNI) Salvatore ridden by S John won the Smt Maliniraje Prasad Memorial Gold Trophy, the main event of the races held here today.

The winner is joint property of Sunil Jhanaiani, Mrs Shaila Jhangiani and Dr and Mrs Vijay Mallya and trained by J S Dhariwal.

Jockeys K P G Appu and S John had a brace of each.

Three favourites are obliged in a card of eight events.
