NCP supremo to look into serious infighting in Maharashtra

Mumbai, Oct 11 (UNI) NCP President and Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has been asked to look into the serious party infighting reported in some districts of Maharashtra, party spokesman Madan Bafna said today.

Talking to reporters, Mr Bafna said infighting was reported between Vasant Davkhare, deputy speaker of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and environment Minister Ganesh Naik in Thane and between minister of state for school education Hasan Mushrif and Sadashiv Mandlik, MP in Kolhapur.

He said the party had taken serious note of all these instances and the state leaders were trying to solve the problem.

Bafna said in the recently concluded corporation and gram panchayat elections, the NCP had done fairly well.
