Naveen condoles Bomai's death

Bhubaneswar, Oct 11 (UNI) Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today expressed grief over the demise of former Karnataka Chief Minister S R Bommai, who died at Bangalore last night.

In a message, the chief minister described Mr Bomai as a far-sighted people's leader and fondly recollected his contribution both as a Chief Minister and as a Union Minister.

As a member of the Rajya Sabha from Orissa, Mr Bomai had also contributed a lot for the development of the state, Mr Patnaik said in his message.

The Chief Minister conveyed his deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved family.
