Major twist in Bachchan agri land case

Lucknow, Oct 11 (UNI) In a significant twist in the Amitabh Bachchan agricultural land case before the Lucknow Bench of Allahabad High Court, the gram sabha during the hearing today, offerred that if the Bollywood actor returned the disputed piece of land, the judicial proceedings against him would be dropped.

However, Bachchan's counsel Mohd Arif Khan prayed for a day's time to discuss the matter with his client.

The time was granted and the hearing would continue tomorrow.

The gram sabha was represented by counsel lawyer R N Gupta.
