LG greets Delhiites on Eid, Navratra festivals

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Delhi Lt Governor Tejender Khanna today greeted people of Delhi on the occasion of Eid and Navratra festivals.

''The auspicious month of Ramzan is coming to a close and Eid festivities are near when all our Muslim brethren will be rejoicing and thanking the Almighty for accepting their month-long prayers for a year of goodwill, peace and brotherhood,''the LG said in his message on Eid.

In his greetings for Navratra festival, Mr Khanna said,''The Navratra period is a period of prayers, fasting and festivities, making it one of the grandest and happiest periods of the year for all. My warm greetings to all our brothers and sisters.'' UNI
