Idea posts Rs 502.06 cr profit during FY 06-07

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) Idea Cellular Ltd today said its net profit stood at Rs 502.06 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 where as the same was Rs 125.6 crore for the fiscal ended March 31, 2006.

The total revenue stood at Rs 4,387.33 crore for the FY 2006-07 against Rs 2,017.64 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.

The Group posted a net profit of Rs 502.22 crore FY 2006-07 where as the same stood at Rs 211.77 crore during the corresponding period a year ago.

The total revenue for the Group was Rs 4,387.33 crore for the fiscal 2006-07 against Rs 2,986.92 crore for the year ended March 31, 2006.

In view of the amalgamation of some subsidiaries with the parent company, with effect from April 01, 2006, the figures for the current year are not comparable to those of the previous year.
