Gujjar demand for ST a political conspiracy:Youva Meena Mahasabha

Jaipur, Oct 11 (UNI) The Rashtriya Youva Meena Mahasabha today alleged that the Gujjar reservation agitation was part of a ''political conspiracy'' to destablise the development process of the tribals.

Addressing a press conference here, Mahasabha vice-president Ramlal Meena said, ''It is part of a political conspiracy to destabilise the development process of the tribals and the Gujjars are being used as an instrument''.

He announced the constitution of an Adivasi Sena to create awareness among the tribal community about their rights.

He said the tribals would never allow the political parties to use reservation as a tool to woo voters by hurting the interests of the genuine people. Mr Meena said Gujjars were not tribals and, therefore, should not be considered for reservation.
