Ex M P Varkey George passes away

Kottayam, Oct 11 (UNI) Well-known social activist, former MP and A V G group Chairman Varkey George, died at a private nursing home here today.

He was 78, according to family sources.

He is survived by his wife Moly, two sons, A V George and Mammen Varkey, and two daughters, Beena Kurian and Thara Peter.

The funeral will take place at the CSI Cemetery here tomorrow.
