Dacoit Nirbhay Gujjar's aide slapped with lifer

Jalaun, Oct 11 (UNI) A local court has pronounded life imprisonment on slain notorious dacoit Nirbhay Gujjar's aide Mangali Jatav in an abduction case.

According to prosecution, on July 14, 2004, Kailash Narayan's son Sagar was kidnapped from the Urai district court precincts.

Later, an FIR was lodged against Mangali and another gang member Rajendra Singh at the Urai Kotwali police station.

On the basis of testimony and circumstancial evidence, Special Judge (dacoity) Chandrasen Kureel convicted the accused.

The court, however, acquitted Rajendra for lack of evidence.
