Centre in touch with Rajasthan Govt regarding Ajmer blast

New Delhi, Oct 11 (UNI) The Home Ministry today condemned the blast at the Ajmer Sharif that killed one person and injured many, and was in touch with the state government.

''The Centre is in touch with the state government,'' a home ministry spokesman said here.

The blast in Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chisti's durgah this evening occurred at around 1815 hrs near the holy tomb shortly after the custom of 'iftar'. There was a huge gathering of devotees in the durgah owing to Ramzan at the time of the incident.
